Special Resolution to adopt the proposed Constitution, dated August 12th 2018, in accordance with the Corporations Act was approved and is effective immediately

On behalf of the Committee, I would like to notify you that a Special General Meeting will be held at 8pm, on Monday 17th September 2018 at the Clubhouse.  All financial members are invited to attend the SGM.

The meeting will be held to adopt the Constitution, dated 12th August 2018, in accordance with the Corporations Act. The current Articles of Association was last reviewed in 2015.

The proposed new Constitution of the Club can be found accompanying this notice on the Club website, under the members’ link, for your review. Accompanying this notification is the existing Articles of Association,  a summary review of the proposed changes and a document showing the tracked changes.

As per our governance obligations, no other business other than set out in this notice under rule 33 may be conducted at the meeting.

Please note that voting is only applicable for valid financial members as of 5pm on the 17th September 2018. The Proxy form is only to be used and returned if you wish to delegate the President or another member to vote for you at the SGM and handed to the office no later than 24 hours prior to the AGM.
