Trofeo Estate Wine Appreciation Evening

Ranelagh Club Members appreciate that we are truly lucky to be in Mount Eliza – the entry into our unique Mornington Peninsula – where the ever increasing range of fresh local produce, specialist breweries, boutique coffee roasters and talented local designers and artists who amaze and spoil us with their products and works, are on our doorstep.

So when the opportunity arose for us to host a Wine Appreciation evening showcasing the wines of Trofeo Estate in Dromana, one of an impressive array of vineyards down this way, paired with the delicious menu created specifically for this evening by our talented Chef Shane Smith, taste-buds were tingling in anticipation.

Lori Smith, Operations Manager at Trofeo Estate, informed us throughout the dinner of the intricacies of their range of wines being matched – Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, & Chardonnay to name a few – their specialist techniques and unique philosophies. We all agreed the wines were multi dimensional and complex yet beautifully balanced as well.
