It is with great delight that I can announce a new management structure for the Club following the resignation of Rod Austin.
Since bringing the catering function in house, it has become quite evident the diverse skill set required to effectively run the Club. The challenge has been to find the right candidate with both a General Management background including experience in Food and Beverage Management. In order to provide the Club with the expertise it requires, we have appointed 2 General Managers with different skill sets on a job share arrangement. This arrangement has enabled us to attract 2 highly skilled and competent Managers to the Club.
Suzanne Murphy-General Manager Operations & Marketing
Suzanne is a successful senior manager with international experience in various General Management roles with expertise in Marketing, developing and executing strategy, team leadership and development. Suzanne is currently a Ranelagh Club member and is most passionate about the member experience. Suzanne will be responsible for Club Operations including marketing, the back office function and club activities.
Marnie Harvey-General Manager Food and Beverage
Marnie is also a current member of the Club and is an executive chef with over 20 years’ experience in hospitality and operational management. Marnie has not only worked across Europe in restaurants, ranging from fine dining to multi national hotels, to managing large teams of catering staff. Most recently Marnie has been running her own provedore business supplying perishable foods to super yachts in the Asia Pacific region. Marnie will be responsible for Restaurant and Bar Operations.
Please join me in welcoming Suzanne and Marnie. Suzanne and Marnie commenced in their new roles Monday 29th July and will be completing a week handover with Rod Austin prior to his departure.
